Hours: Food served daily from 11:00 a.m. – 9 p.m. (From 3:00 – 5:00 is a Happy Hour pupu menu only).  Bar serves till 10 p.m.  Saturdays and Sundays is their “Bloody Mary Beach Brunch” from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Sunset on the beach with my dog and a Mai Tai in hand!  Yep, this is THE PLACE!  Lava Lava Beach Club (LLBC) is co-owned by Scott Dodd, Past President of Hawaii Island Humane Society, so it’s no surprise that his restaurant (AND beach cottage rentals!) is dog-friendly.  Many people visit the beach with their dogs (Please see my BEACH review below!) and then have pupus and drinks afterwards in the beach sand seating area, which is first-come first-served.  LLBC has become very popular, so we recommend going early.  We are extremely grateful for this AMAZING dog-friendly establishment, so please be respectful of the servers and other restaurant guests.  Mahalo!
